Auction Information for Fandom Fights Tsunami

We are so excited to announce that we will be introducing some new opportunities for you to donate. We have contacted a few different organizations to see if they would be willing to donate some items. We were also contacted by a Twilight fan with an autographed photo up for auction. Since we have a variety of fandoms amazingly involved, it was a challenge to find items to put up for auction. We have graciously been given donations from two huge groups! TheHillywoodShow will be donating signed photographs for you to bid on. And also Creationent has put together a packet of items for us. I told them we had fans from Twilight and Supernatural (They do conventions for both of those, along with others) and that we would love some items from them. As of now we have three items that have been donated (I am still waiting for the mail to come from The Hillywood Show and CreationEnt, as soon as they arrive, they will be posted on here). We have a signed photo of BooBoo Stewart, Chaske Spencer and Kiowa Gordon.

Underneath each photo/item we will provide where they came from and the story about them. So please check it out, and if you have any questions, email us at fandom4tsunami@gmail.com

1. This “auction” is basically a way of donating. To bid on an item, please add the amount you will be willing to donate in the comment section of our post (PLEASE do not email us the amount you will be bidding—only email us if you have any questions). We will be keeping track of the bid from start to finish.

2. When bidding, please specify which item you are bidding on

3. At the end of the bidding, whoever has agreed to donate the most, is the winner.

4. The winner of the item will then go to the Red Cross’ website and donate through their Tsunami fund.

5. Once you have donated send us your receipt as proof of your donation to fandom4tsunami@gmail.com     

6. In your email with the forwarded receipt, please include your mailing address that you would like your item sent to.

7. Bidding starts April 2nd and will end April 19th. This gives you seventeen days to bid on an item.

8. Please provide proof of donation within three days.

Information for Authors and People receiving Compilation!

Hello everyone!
Thank you all so very much for all of your hard work these past two days! We have raised a lot of money and have gotten so many wonderful authors to sign up! We are trying to get everything prepared for upcoming news, and just trying to organize everything. We love questions, so if you are unsure about something, please contact us! fandom4tsunami@gmail.com

We have come up with some dates for everyone! As you know the submission for your stories must be sent in to us by May 11th ! We will be sending out the compilation to the people who have donated on May 20th. That gives us enough time to put the compilation together and make sure everything is good to go for all of you readers :) We ask that you do not post your story until after June 29th ! This is so important! So please wait until that day or after. We extended it until June because we want people to feel like they can receive the compilation for a longer period of time. Hope that is okay! We will be accepting donations through July 1st

Fandom Fights the Tsunami's

On behalf of UNF4Rob, Krystal, Maria and Alex, we want to thank you for joining this site, our twitter account and your donations. As you know Japan, Hawaii and the West Coast were greatly and horrifically affected by a Tsunami. With the number of bodies that have been found growing quickly, it is nearing 300, they are in need of our help. The disaster destroyed huge parts of the areas and injured thousands. With your donation you could be helping out more than you know.

Whether you are an author dedicating your time and your words, or a donator, you are ALL amazing. By donating a minimum of $10 (Which is the minimum for The American Red Cross) or whatever your minimum is in your country (Feel free to donate more than your minimum but that is all we require) you will have access to a compilation of stories and poems by amazing authors. Please remember that all donation sites may require a different minimum from another. It is usually in a different country. We will accept all donations as long as they are for a tsunami relief. These stories are going to be from all different kinds of fandoms; not just twilight. So if you want to write for Harry Potter, Hunger Games or write your own original fiction, we need you! All stories will be due by May 11th.

If you decide to donate, please remember to forward your receipt to our email fandom4tsunami@gmail.com. We have decided to use The Red Cross as our organization we will be supporting and you can check out their website here. That link will take you to the list of ways you can donate to the Red Cross. Please click on the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami button and procede from there. When you are done, just, please, forward your receipt to our email! Since the demand of help is strong right now, you can start donating whenever you would like.
